Top Games
Video games played on any platform.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017)9.4/10. Including the Master Trials and Champions' Ballad DLCs. And all 900 Koroks...
- Elden Ring (2022)9.1/10. Played the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. I have all Steam achievements and have beaten all bosses.
- Subnautica (2018)9.0/10. One of the most underrated games of all time.
- Grand Theft Auto V (2013)8.7/10.
- Hollow Knight (2017)8.3/10. Hollow Knight is an extremely fun souls-like metroidvania with intricately-crafted game mechanics. The OST and sound design are phenomenal. When I first started playing it felt very over-hyped, but it got exponentially better the more I played. You can tell that the developers have put a lot of attention to detail in every area of the game. The game's base difficulty is relatively low for newcomers who just want to play the game while providing challenges that scale in difficulty for those who enjoy punishment. Here are my favorite bosses ranked:
1. Mantis Lords
2. Nightmare King Grimm
3. Watcher Knights
4. Failed Champion
5. Soul Tyrant
6. White Defender
7. Traitor Lord
Also, whoever designed the White Palace is going to hell. - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (2023)8.3/10. An objective upgrade to the previous game. On its own, it's an 8.3 but building off the previous game, it's a 9.4.
- No Man's Sky (2016)8.2/10. It's like Subnautica but in space. The Star Wars sci-fi realism is amazing.
- Nier: Automata (2017)8.2/10.
- Bioshock (2007)8.1/10.
- Hollow Knight: Silksong (2025)7.8/10. I wrote a dedicated review. This is one of my favorite games of all time but it's complicated. If you want a tl;dr, I'll say that Silksong is to Hollow Knight as Tears of the Kingdom is to Breath of the Wild.
- All The Mods 7 (2020)7.8/10.
- Blasphemous (2019)7.7/10. Yet another souls-like metroidvania that has great-feeling mechanics. The art direction is beautiful in a really gritty and grotesque way. It feels like Fromsoft made this game. The only dislike I have in this game is the instant-kill spike areas.
- Little Nightmares (2017)7.7/10.
- All The Mods 7 (2023)7.5/10. A solid upgrade from ATM 7.
- Realm of the Mad God Exalt (2010)7.5/10. I've played this game since middle school. Since then the game has become significantly more balanced and less "pay to win".
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (2024)7.4/10. A terribly cute callback to the original Zelda game formula with a new spin on the story and mechanics. It's really pleasant to play.
- Dark Souls: Remastered (2016)7.4/10. Played remastered instead of the original because I didn't want to put myself through 10 fps Blighttown (or so I hear). After replaying and finishing, I can confidently say that the the bosses in the Artorias DLC are entire tiers above all the other bosses in the game.
- Barony (2015)7.3/10.
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (2016)7.2/10. The combat is a bit clunky and awkward but the world-building is incredibly good for its time. It's like if an open-world Assassin's Creed game was more than copy-pasted cities and there weren't as many glitches. I didn't grow up playing this game but I understand why so many of my friends look back on it with fond nostalgia.
- Cobbleverse (2025)7.2/10. A fully immersive Minecraft Pokemon experience. It's basically just like any other pokemon game except the mechanics are Minecraft-ified.
- Elden Ring: Nightreign (2025)7.2/10. Imagine Elden Ring but twice the induced anxiety. It's fun to play with friends but solo mode is pure suffering, dying endlessly to fight repeat bosses and nightlords.
- Transistor (2014)7.1/10. Pretty good but just not my kind of gameplay.
- Satisfactory (2024)7.0/10. This is a great game for mechanical engineers with autism and I mean that in the best way. It's fun to do the math and maximize your outputs and it's also satisfying to perfectly place your factory components in an aesthetically organized area.
- Sifu (2022)7.0/10. It's a very cool game with challenging combat mechanics, but it feels a little too challenging for me. I played on normal difficulty and struggled hard in the first area. Maybe it's because I haven't played Sekiro yet.
- Tekxit 4 (2023)7.0/10. The modpack is good but the mods are a bit clunky when working together.
