  1. Re:Zero (2016)8.8/10. Sub. 2 seasons seen.
  2. Jujutsu Kaisen (2020)8.0/10. Sub. Currently airing. I originally rated this 7.5 but have since reconsidered after watching season 2.
  3. Future Diary (2011)8.0/10. Sub.
  4. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (2002)7.8/10. Athrun is best boy. My favorite quote is "A dove, a symbol of peace, is not born with a sharp beak or claws for a fatal attack. For this reason, if doves were to fight against each other... they say it would no doubt be a long, gruesome battle."
  5. Naruto Shippuden (2007)7.6/10. This is a direct continuation of Naruto with better fights and a significantly more intriguing plot. Naruto has great messages for accepting yourself and accepting others. Unfortunately the episodes are still paced very slowly even excluding the filler and the final arc's power scaling goes through the roof. Naruto's best arc is the entire Pain arc - that's peak Naruto.
  6. Naruto (2002)7.3/10. The characters are surprisingly well balanced and you can really feel the development of each character as they mature and become stronger. There's only a handful of shows that do this well and Naruto is one of them. Watching as an adult, the pacing is painfully slow (even without the filler) but I can see how much fun it would be to watch as a kid.

I also love when the Third Hokage is stuck in Orochimaru's sword for a good 10 episodes.
  7. Cowboy Bebop (1998)7.3/10. Dub. For lack of better words, this show is weirdly... deep. Each episode makes you feel a little depressed and super nostalgic. In addition, the soundtrack is as fantastic as I've been told. I'd recommend this show for the vibes alone.
  8. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021)7.0/10. Sub.
  9. Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma (2015)6.8/10. Sub. One season seen. It's a decent show. The characters are a bit strange (and sexualized all the time) but the plot is solid. I don't really feel a lot of character growth from the protagonist so far.
  10. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (2018)6.7/10. I watched halfway through the first season before stopping. I didn't realize it was going to be a harem, and the plot didn't really end up making a lot of sense.
